The sound design for the tracks was based on complex routing between effects, which through much experimentation resulted in multi-dimensional sound repetitions.

Although this single contains massive amounts of reverb, delay and bass, it unfolds unhurriedly giving you a chance to breathe and meditate on the myriad details created partly during the live recording, partly in the process of meticulous arrangement.

The main version of the track has a more balanced spectrum and plenty of variety in the rhythm section, which includes 909 hi-hats. For the most part, you can clearly hear the analog noise from the machine and the expressive tape delay effects, which creates fractal landscapes out of a simple motif.

The altered version is a remix of tracks from the main version, with the addition of a powerful, throbbing analog bass that gives it a lot of weight. The delays are a bit quieter and thus more ephemeral.
